GOLDEN MAPLE MEDIA PTY. LTD.

GMM is a group of senior broadcasting specialists having over 40 years of in-depth knowledge and experience in local and foreign FM radio broadcasting media and technology.

The team within GMM possesses vast experience in all aspects of the broadcasting industry ranging from engineering technology to programming as well as training, marketing and administration. We are still directly involved in various facets of the industry at local as well as international stations of high repute.

REINVIGORATION OF KOTHMALE FM 107.3 RADIO STATION

Reinvigoration of Kothmale FM 107.3 Radio Station is a key project of the Golden Maple Media Pvt. Ltd. which incorporated in Sri Lanka, established to specifically launch this project.

As former SLBC employees who were very passionate about the success of the Kothmale FM Radio Station, the group is determined to bring a new lease of life to this service. Kothmale FM station has the objective to be a sustainable, pro-environment, cultural, entertainment, information and knowledge based broadcasting facility that would harness the intercommunity coexistence in the target area of broadcasting to the townships of Kothmale, Ginigathena, Hatton, Pussellawa and Gampola and to be part of the Sri Lankan broadcasting industry.

In execution of this project GMM will adhere to the adage of the famous Canadian mass media guru, Marshall McLuhan, “A medium affects the society in which it plays a role not by the content delivered over the medium, but by the characteristics of the medium itself.”

The project vision is to bring the Sri Lankan music to an universal listening audience
